Independent Voices is the inaugural product of Reveal Digital of Ann Arbor, Michigan. With a track record at companies like ProQuest, Gale Cengage, NAPC, and Apex Publishing, our leadership and staff represent decades of experience building innovative products and serving the library and publishing communities.
We're excited to introduce a revolutionary platform and framework for libraries to collaborate and create unique digital collections using a strict cost-recovery pricing model. We help libraries and other content owners work together as partners to bring rare – and untapped – content to the digital world as an effective alternative to popular mass digitization projects.
Reveal Digital Founder
The founder of Reveal Digital, Jeff Moyer has been successfully bringing together libraries and special collection content to create entirely new digital collections that support research and teaching. Jeff’s experience includes a leading role in the formation of the landmark library/vendor collaborative effort - Early English Books Online Text Creation Partnership (EEBO-TCP). It was that experience that convinced Jeff that new models for collaboration can work between libraries and vendors, and is the underlying belief in his founding of Reveal Digital.
Prior to Reveal Digital, Jeff was head of Digital Collection Publishing at both ProQuest, where he started Digital Dissertations, EEBO, Historical Newspapers and other key digital collections, and Gale Cengage, where he provided strategic direction for the Digital Collections product line. Jeff was a founding Partner in National Archive Publishing Company, a digital conversion services company that worked on projects as varied as the Rolling Stone archive, Martin Luther King Jr. Papers, Ovid LWW journal archive collection and the ERIC Microfiche Digitization project.
