Digging the Underground logo

Authored by Dr. Jeremy Guida

profileI recently graduated with my PhD in the study of religion. I spent two years doing archival research with underground papers and wrote my dissertation on the religious significance of the underground press. My research has focused especially on metaphysical groups and practices and their relationship to various types of media, especially print media and film. The Independent Voices archive was a helpful resource for conducting my research, and I am contributing to this blog to provide other researchers with assistance in navigating this large archive.

I currently live in Santa Barbara, CA with my girlfriend and our dog, Zoey. I enjoy playing disc golf, building LEGO sets, and playing fantasy football with friends and family.
